2022 GMC Acadia receives new Light Stone Metallic color: First Look

The 2022 GMC Acadia is getting a new exterior color: Light Stone Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new sand tone.

Light Stone Metallic, with color code G5D and touch-up paint code WA-615G, is one of six natural hues and one of five metallic color options available for the 2022 Acadia.

There are a total of eight colors available for the 2022 GMC Acadia, including:

• White frost tricoat
• Light stone, metallic
• Satin-finished steel metallic
• Summit white
• Ebony Twilight Metallic
• Hunter metallic
• Midnight blue metallic
• Cayenne red tint coat

The Light Stone Metallic color is not included in the price of the 2022 GMC Acadia as it costs an additional $ 495. It is available in conjunction with all interior color combinations and equipment variants, but not for models with the Acadia Elevation Edition package.

Note that Summit White is the only exterior color included in the base price of the 2022 GMC Acadia.

As of this writing, 2022 Acadia units started production on June 24th^the, 2021, including models in Light Stone Metallic. It is possible that the ongoing shortage of microchips is affecting inventory levels, so we recommend contacting a dealer for full availability details.

Potential buyers may be interested to know that the 2022 Acadia will receive other minor changes and updates, such as the elimination of the SL trim level, revised powertrain availability, new wheel options, new standard equipment and more.
