Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the
National Assembly (N / A) Vuong Dinh Hue and the Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Habib El Malki, held talks by video conference on July 7 and agreed to increase visits at all levels and personal exchanges and mutual support at regional and international forums.

The two heads of state and government shared the view that their countries should intensify bilateral trade and investment in the coming period, while increasing investment promotion and business matching activities.

They expressed their joy that the Vietnamese community in Morocco has integrated well into local society.

The two sides also agreed to maintain close coordination in multilateral fora and support each other’s positions on regional and international issues of common concern.

Chairman Hue confirmed that Vietnam was ready to serve Morocco as a gateway to improve cooperation with other ASEAN countries.

In response, El Malki said his country was also ready to act as a bridge for Vietnam to deepen partnerships with African nations.

He added that as Vietnam has made significant development achievements, including in the automotive and aerospace industries, Morocco aims to strengthen ties with the Southeast Asian nation in these areas.

Morocco is also ready to share its success stories in developing agriculture and renewable energies such as wind and solar energy with Vietnam, the spokesman continued.

Meanwhile, Vietnam’s supreme legislature has expressed its conviction that the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries will thrive more strongly for the good of their people, as well as for peace, stability and development in each country, their respective regions and because of the good political ties the world as a whole./.
