Mountain Dew has long been known for its greenish-yellow hue and its burst of caffeine and sweetness. Now that Childhood classics gets an upgrade.
In news we saw for the first time CNBC, PepsiCo and Boston Beer come together to create Hard Mtn Dew. And this product means business. So far, the drink seems to be available in three flavors: Original, Black Cherry and Watermelon. In addition, the cans show an updated vision of the Mountain Dew logo against wild, wild animals. The cans seem to represent an eagle, a bear or a snake. Once again, Hard Mtn Dew is evident; Exercise caution when drinking this Mountain Dew.

That Press release on the drink reveals the following. First, it has an alcohol volume (ABV) of 5%. Second, surprisingly, it doesn’t contain any sugar.

Despite these many developments, it sounds like the heart of the drink will remain. For the Mountain Dew aficionados among us, this might be the perfect brew to try. A taste of the future, mixed with a slightly tingling touch of nostalgia. We wonder what color the drink will be inside.
But when will that tough Mountain Dew be available? The percentage of release consumers should expect to see the product in early 2022. In the meantime there is lots of other fun, nostalgic drinks to sip on. Of course, when all else fails, there is always the real thing!
